We encourage our youth to take an active role in the community by engaging in civic, cultural, & service learning activities within our community.

Our programs empower both our youth & adults to prepare them for active participation in a variety of capacities. 

A teen service club for high school youth in Escondido. It encourages service learning, addressing civic and social needs, and developing relationships and leadership skills among youth.

The RLA is a curriculum-based, community health organizing project that empowers residents to make positive changes in their communities.

Youth court is a youth-focused and youth-driven service-learning program. The Escondido Youth Court provides high school students ages 14-18, the opportunity to acquire practical experience in the juvenile justice system.  Youth serve as attorneys and jurors in a hearing for juvenile defendants who have committed a misdemeanor crime. The attorneys argue the case and the jurors determine the sentence for the defendant.
