Family Intervention Team

Family Intervention Team – FIT The Family Intervention Team (FIT) pairs retired law enforcementofficers with case managers to provide intervention, mentoring and decision-making services to males to learn about the risk for joining or associating with a gang or becoming involved in criminal behavior. Students in 5th– 12th grade who attend school in Escondido are eligible to participate. Services are at no cost to the youth and their families.

Once the boy finishes the 10 week group, the case managers still stay in touch with the boy and his family. He will be invited to join FIT on field trips, activities, sporting events, and other COMPACT programming.
